Our Approach to Kitten Viewings 🐾

At MaineCoonSG, we believe that choosing a Maine Coon kitten should be a thoughtful and personal experience — both for our families and for the wellbeing of our kittens.

As our kittens are raised in a calm and carefully managed environment, all viewings are conducted strictly by private appointment only. This allows us to provide each family with dedicated time to meet the kittens, ask questions, and better understand the breed, while ensuring our kittens are not overwhelmed by excessive handling, noise, or unnecessary stress during their early development.

Our kittens are often highly anticipated and many are reserved before arriving in Singapore. For this reason, we carefully manage viewing appointments to ensure a comfortable and ethical environment for both our visitors and our cats.

Private viewing sessions take place at our shop by scheduled appointment only.

Each session includes:

• A private 60-minute appointment 
• The opportunity to meet kittens currently available for viewing, subject to availability
• Guidance regarding temperament, grooming, nutrition, personality, and lifestyle suitability 
• Time to ask questions about the breed and our adoption process 

Your $30 viewing fee is fully credited toward your kitten reservation fee if you decide to proceed during or within 24 hours of your appointment.

This fee helps us manage appointment demand and dedicate private time slots to families who are genuinely considering welcoming a kitten into their home.

The health, comfort, and emotional wellbeing of our kittens will always remain our priority.

To maintain a clean and low-stress environment, we kindly ask all visitors to respect the following guidelines during their visit:

• Viewings are limited to a maximum of 2 adults per appointment 
• Please arrive on time for your scheduled session 
• Hands must be sanitised before interacting with the kittens 
• Some kittens may still be under evaluation and may not yet be available for reservation 
• Handling of kittens may be limited depending on their age, temperament, or energy level 
• Food and drinks are not permitted near the kittens 
• Flash photography is not allowed 

For the health and biosecurity of our kittens, please let us know if you have visited another cattery, shelter or pet facility within the previous 48 hours.

Our kittens are raised in a family environment and are well-socialised with young children from an early age. Families with children are warmly welcome during viewing sessions, and we simply ask that interactions remain calm and gentle to ensure a comfortable experience for the kittens.

Please note that a viewing appointment does not automatically reserve or hold a kitten.

Reservations are confirmed only after:

• Completion of our reservation process 
• Payment of the deposit for your kitten  
• Official confirmation from MaineCoonSG 

As availability can change quickly, we encourage interested families to contact us in advance regarding the litters they are interested in.
