Maine Coon Cattery Singapore is run by MAINECOON CATTERY SG (ACRA UEN 53447114E), an AVS-licensed pet shop (licence no. AS24E00026) at 180 Joo Chiat Rd, #02-02, Singapore 427451. This page explains how to reserve a kitten, what you pay and when, and when you get your money back.
Our kittens are priced from S$7,500 to S$9,500, depending on the pedigree line, colour, sex and litter. We confirm the exact price of your kitten in writing before you pay anything. The price includes two vaccinations, deworming, microchipping and sterilisation; a vet examination before the kitten flies to Singapore; pedigree papers and a copy of the parents' genetic tests; a health guarantee covering congenital conditions, as set out in our contract; a handover session at our shop, or at your home at no extra charge; and lifetime support after your kitten goes home, from our team and directly from your kitten's original breeder.
1. Fill in our kitten application form.
2. We contact you on WhatsApp to talk through the kittens, their temperaments and their arrival date.
3. Once you have chosen a kitten, you pay a deposit to reserve it.
4. We send you a written confirmation with the kitten's name, the full price, the deposit paid, the balance and the expected handover date.
Reservations are first come, first served. No kitten is reserved until the deposit is paid, and a viewing appointment does not hold a kitten.
The deposit is 50% of the kitten's price (S$3,750 to S$4,750). It is part of the price, not an extra charge, and is deducted from the final payment.
Pay by bank transfer, PayNow or PayLah to our business account in the name MAINECOON CATTERY SG. We never ask you to pay into a personal account. Before you pay, check that the details match those we sent you on WhatsApp from +65 8780 1461.
Once your deposit is paid, we stop advertising the kitten and mark it as reserved.
A private viewing costs S$30. If you reserve a kitten during your viewing or within 24 hours of it, the S$30 is deducted in full from your deposit.
Kittens go home from 12 weeks of age, after their second vaccination, deworming, microchipping and sterilisation. At the handover you pay the balance, sign the contract and take your kitten home.
We understand that plans change. Because we turn other families away once a kitten is reserved, we hold your deposit until we find a new family for the kitten. As soon as we do, we refund your deposit in full.
You get your full deposit back within 7 days (or, if you prefer, you can move it to another kitten) if the kitten does not pass its vet examination before travel, becomes ill or passes away before the handover, cannot travel to Singapore, or if we cannot hand over the kitten for any other reason on our side.
Our preferred payment methods are bank transfer, PayNow and PayLah. A service fee applies to credit card and instalment payments; we tell you the amount before you pay.
